Mom & Nya in Rexburg

My mom and my sister Nya came to Rexburg and stayed with us for a week!!! It was really nice to be with them and especially watch my mom interact with her grandchildren. She is an awesome "abuelita". Braden loved his "abuelita" so much, he would stare at her at any chance he had! Brielle loves Nya! She thinks Nya is the coolest girl on earth! She would follow her anywhere she went and wanted to do everything Nya did. It was very cute to watch! We had a great time with them and miss them a lot!Braden really likes his aunt Nya, he especially loves pulling her long beautiful hair!!! He loves hair!

We went to a Chukars game (Idaho Falls baseball team). It rained for a little bit and then it cleared up and we were blessed with a beautiful rainbow. The Chukars lost but we had a good time!

I can't believe Nya is a senior in high school!!!

I have to say...I have the prettiest mom!

Our friend Nick and his wife Natalie invited us to go boating with them. We took Nya with us. She had never been wakeboarding. We had a fun time.

We went tubing also and I couldn't stop laughing the whole time. It was so funny!

Nya was our flag girl!

Scott makes wakeboarding look way too easy!!! He's pretty darn good at it. I stood up twice but then I couldn't stay up! It's hard!!!

We went rafting with Scott's family and took Nya with us. I had never been, neither had Nya. It was the funnest thing I have done in a long time!!! Scott and I decided that when our kids are old enough to go rafting, it will definitely be something we want to do with them! I wish I could have take pictures when we were actually in the water. The day started cloudy and it seemed like it was going to storm, it rained for a while but then it turned out to be a beautiful day. It was nice to be surrounded by so much beauty and really makes you grateful that Heavenly Father created such a beautiful earth for us to enjoy!

My Best Friend Timber

My dear friend Timber and her two beautiful children came to stay with us for a few days! We had such a great time together. Her kids are Denim Blue and Blazen Trails!!! (This is true, I'm not joking) It totally fits their life-style!!! Timber is a cowgirl! Timber and I have known each other since my very first semester here at BYU-Idaho. I love her and our friendship is something I treasure. We hadn't seen each other in about 4 years. But it doesn't matter how long we haven't seen each other, it's always the same and we can talk for hours about life and we can laugh so hard! She is awesome!

Hiese Pool

We took the kids to Hiese Pool this summer and they loved it! They had a blast and we did too!

I love this picture of Brielle! She loves the water!

Braden was tired after playing in the water!

Brielle wearing mom's shorts!

Brielle went down the water slide with Scott so she had to wear a life jacket, she thought she was so cool wearing it. She posed for the camera!!! She is definitely a character!

We weren't sure what Brielle thought of the water slide. Scott sure had fun though!!!

Mesa Falls

Ashley, Emily, Betsy and I (old roomates in college) got together after 3 or 4 years. I had seen them before that, but we hadn't been all together for that long. We had such a great time. We planned a picnic to Mesa Falls. It was kind of sad when we got there and it started raining, we were all starving, so we decided to eat in our cars. It was quite funny!!! But the rain stopped and it turned out to be a fun day.

Summer FUN!

I started this blog over two months ago with the purpose of updating it often. But I have been putting it off. I have taken lots of picture this summer though and want to share them with everyone. We have had lots of friends and family over and it has been wonderful seeing everyone and spending time with them. We've been having some good summer fun and we have been keeping busy. As you know Scott is applying to medical school right now, and it is quite the process. At the beginning of the summer, he started the huge project of building a deck for his mom's townhouse. It took him almost 3 months to finish it, however, he worked on and off, part-time on it. I must brag at the great job that he did. I see it and I can't believe that he built it (with his dad's help). It is a beautiful deck!!!
