Fun with the Family!

Last Friday, I ventured down to Utah by myself and the 2 kids. Scott couldn't get the days off work, we were very sad about it...The drive was quite the adventure, but not as bad as I thought it was going to be...I made it both ways without stopping and I made it without going insane!!! Both kids were good for the most part...of course my little angel Braden was the best by far, Brielle screamed at the top of her lungs for a little while going both ways...and who could blame the little girl...being stuck in a car for 4 hours is just not fun for anyone! I was happy to make it safely to be with my mom, sister and see family that I haven't seen in years (literally). I realized that seeing family makes me so happy and I'm so glad I drove all the way there. My mom caught pneumonia about a month ago and I have been so worried about her, thankfully and truly miraculously my brother surprised my mom with a visit from Arizona just the day that she had started to really feel sick. My brother was there with her at the hospital, etc. Heavenly Father is always watching out for us. So it was nice to see my mommy and be with her and my sister. My cousin Bonnie recently had a little baby girl. They live in Salt Lake and they blessed their new little girl on Sunday. Our cousins who go to school at BYU and UVSC were also there. It was such a blast!!! I hadn't seen them in about 5 years!!! They both have gone and are back from missions. One of my cousins, René, is already married and has a little boy. When they saw me with my 2 children they couldn't believe it!!! They kept telling me, "Look at you! You are a mom already!!!" It's crazy to see each other all grown up, since we used to play together as kids...we had an awesome dinner after the blessing...Bonnie's husband Gary is an amazing cook! We seriously had a feast!!!!!!! I was soooooo sad when I had to leave!!!!

My mom's work gave her tickets to go to a basketball game at UVSC, so we all went for a little while and had such a great time, I don't even know what teams were playing but it was nice to do something different. It was fun to watch the half time performance by the drill team...they weren't amazing but it was fun.

We went out to eat to a Chinese Restaurant in Provo, it was ok...it didn't compare to Fong's in Rexburg...I'm going to miss that place...Braden's face in this picture cracks me up!!!!

After the basketball game, Braden was ready for bed...as you can see...

When I was little my parents used to swing us like this in a blanket. Braden loved it! He was very happy when they were swinging him but very upset when they stopped!

This is Lydia Andrea, isn't she precious?

My cousin David being silly with Brielle!

This is my chunky boy! He's been really attached to me lately. I didn't go through the whole attachment thing with Brielle so it's been kind of interesting having Braden want me all the time!!!! It's cute...:) most of the time!!!

My cousins Bonnie, René, David & my sister Nya
My aunt Claudia (Bonnie's mom flew in for the blessing from Orlando), the little boy at the bottom is Bonnie's oldest boy, Ian.
