Scott got this hat right when we got married and both kids have loved playing with it...they both think it's the coolest thing ever? Brielle was so little in this picture...
This is me in the first grade. I used to go to a catholic private school in Perú. I have so many fond memories of that time. My best friend, Michelle and I were the only Mormons in the whole school...I remember feeling so proud to be a Mormon and when we had formation at the beginning of the day the priest would recite the same prayer everyday and then everyone had to cross themselves and my friend and I wouldn't do it and I remember feeling that I was different...I don't think we felt we were better than anyone else but I knew that I was different. Anyway, I tend to reminisce sometimes...my childhood was such a happy time...my best friend, from then, passed away a couple of years ago from a brain tumor. We were both the same age, she was 10 days older than me. She was such an amazing woman...we kept in touch through the years, although the last time I saw her we were both 12 years old...I still can't believe she's gone...but going back to the the kiddos...I think I can see some of Brielle in that picture...:)
But in this picture...I just don't think Brielle looks like me as much...what do you think? She is my daughter I promise...
This is my brother Kem and I...I was 5 and he was 4. This was at a kindergarden presentation I had, that is the little outfit my mom made for it...I don't even remember the presentation that much and I don't remember much about kindergarden...Those little overalls my brother is wearing my mom also made. She was so good with the sewing machine. I think Braden looks a lot like my brother too. Kem was such a cute little boy. I love this picture for so many reasons, we are holding hands...I think that's so cute...AND my legs...oh my heck!!!! they look like chicken legs...:)
And...I already posted this one before, but I just LOVE this picture because it reminds me of the picture above of my brother and I...
After I originally wrote this post yesterday, I got an email from my brother this morning (January 24) with these pictures of Brielle and I attached and I just couldn't stop laughing!!! I guess he thinks that Brielle and I look A LOT alike!...She is definitely my daughter!!!:)
Like we say in Spanish...De tal palo tal astilla...if you don't know what that means google it...your Spanish phrase of the day!!!:)

I know how you feel! All I see is Josh when I look at my boys, but then other people will tell me they look like me too. I don't see it though. I love that picture of you and Kem, I think Kem should have your mom make him some overalls like that in his size right now! haha...
Braden totally looks like a tan little Scott, but Brielle has her own little look. Maybe the face shape is Scott, but that's just baby fat, and once that is gone you better watch out cuz those boys will be knocking down your door!
First of all... Denisse, you were the CUTEST first grade girl EVER! You look so precious in that picture.
Second of all, I think Brielle looks more like you than Braden does, but I truly do think that both of your kids look more like you than they look like Scott!

I don't know... I think Brielle looks like you in some ways. But, that is all a matter of perspective I guess.

You can definitely tell they are your kids! They both looks really similar to Scott but I think they look like you too (besides just the coloring). And everyone always says Chloe looks just like Travis, and she does. And I think the older she gets the more people will say it, since she is going to be tall and skinny just like him. Oh well. At least Keely looks to be short like me :)
I love all those pictures - both of your cute kids and of you! What a fun post. I've always thought you're kids were a good mix. Depending on their expression, I can see both of you guys in them. But either way, they have got to be some of the most beautiful children I've ever seen. How darling!
Oh my heck...you are so funny! I LOVE those pictures that your brother sent you!!! We are all laughing so hard! Justin's Mom is here and we are having a good laugh. Your little kids are so adorable and I love the pictures of you guys when you were little. Brielle and Braden definitely have a lot of Scott in them, but I see a little of you too. Especially in those last pictures...hee hee!! Love you guys!

Denisse, I miss you! You are so funny! I love all those pictures. Your kids definately have Scott's eyes and nose, but they have a lot of your mannerisms. Those pics at the end were hilarious! Seth and I are planning on coming out to D.C. in the Fall to visit his sister, but we hope we can visit you too!

Cute! I think that Braden definitely looks like Scott in that first picture and I can see a lot of him in both kids, but like you're brother pointed out in the pictures he sent, they look like you in other ways! I know with my kids, sometimes it's not so much how they look, but certain expressions or mannerisms that remind me of us. Either way, CUTE, CUTE!!
Love the pictures! All the Jensen grandkids look like the Jensen side of the family--it just happens. =) It just means we can blame other things on the Jensens too (like tempers!). *grins and snickers* and, of course, love them all the more. Heck, I walk around with visual reminders of the guy I love most in this world all day. What a great thing!
i can see what you mean about braden and scott...brielle, though, ehhhh...not so sure! i can see the nose, but not the eyes or even the chin really. i think she has your chin. you have your own special little nose though :)
ok those pictures at the end were hilarious! the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?! that's probably the funniest thing i've seen in a long time. what funny girls you are :)
