Scott had a golden day (this means he doesn't admit anyone on that day, he just manages the patients who are there and doesn't get any new ones) a few days after Christmas and we headed to Sugarhouse Park to go sledding.
We had had quite a few storms so there was plenty of white stuff on the ground.
It has been so cold, I am on hibernating mode.
Winter has definitely arrived.
So, it was nice to go do something active with the children and I'm so glad Scottie had the afternoon off. He makes our lives so good when he's around. I've been feeling so lonely without him. I hate to admit it because doctors' wives are just supposed to take whatever comes otherwise we'd have a pretty miserable existence...and most of the time I feel like I am pretty independent and I just have to live life and make plans with or without him, (I know that sounds harsh but that's just how it is.) But I have to say that I miss him so so much when he works so many hours, I mean seriously 12-15 hours days/6 days a week...you do the math...
so yeah, this outing was good for us, for me...
The kids had the time of their lives. Sugarhouse Park has perfect hills to go sledding.
Brielle and Braden are so brave going down those hills...
I on the other hand, I am the biggest wimp ever!
But I LOVED it!
We brought our cute neighbor Zoe along.
I'm so glad we got to spend time outside.

So fun! I love seeing all of these pictures! :)
By the way... I have been meaning to tell you this for a while, but I LOVE how creative Braden is! I hope Harrison is so creative and imaginative. What a thinker he is! He is destined for great things... all of your kids are!
Hola Denisse!
Qué fotos tan bonitas, y el lugar se ve increible.
Pero lo más lindo de todo es tu familia, felicitaciones por eso!!
Thanks for the blog invite Denisse! I just had to say that Brooke totally reminds me of a Cabbage Patch doll in that first picture. SOOO CUTE! I bet you can't resist pinching those cheeks all the time. :)
I love sledding! And you're right - that's the perfect hill for it! So fun!
