I miss him...

"It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It all works out in the end. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers." Gordon B. Hinckley http://deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,695248205,00.html

I'm going to miss seeing President Hinckley's face and hear his voice this Saturday!!!! What an incredible man! He lived his life with so much conviction!!! What a great example!!! I look forward to seeing him again someday!!! I support President Monson as the new prophet! He is an amazing man too and I love him!!! President Hinckley has a special place in my heart though!!! If we can all be "a little kinder" like he always used to say, the world would be a different place! I need to keep that in mind everyday!

I had this same thought pattern yesterday. I was thinking that conference won't be quite the same without president Hinckley. Then I wondered if it's always beent this way when a prophet passes? I think it effects especially our generation since he's the only prophet we can really remember. I miss him too.

Great quote and yes we all miss him dearly! It won't be the same to watch conference and sit there waiting to hear him. I am excited to see Saturday morning when they have the Solemn Assembly to Sustain Pres. Monson, what a neat moment in the church. The gospel is true and is moving forward just like Pres. Hinckley always said it would.

I love that quote by Pres. Hinckley. I'm going to miss him too, but I'm so excited for President Monson. What a neat time to be alive and part of the Church.

Was that quote for me!? ;) Thanks for posting! I needed it. It will be a little strange without Pres. Hinckley. But I look forward to "getting to know" Pres. Monson better. It's an amazing process.
